Terms of Service

Last updated: May 9, 2026

The short version

Tali is a tool for photographers to embed pricing calculators on their websites. By using it, you agree to use it in good faith, pay for the plan you sign up for, and not abuse the service. We agree to keep it running, charge you fairly, and not surprise you.

Who we are

Tali (“we,” “us,” the “Service”) is operated by Ethan W Photography LLC, based in the United States. Reach us at hello@tali.so.

Your account

You need to create an account to use Tali. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. If you discover unauthorized access, tell us immediately. You must be at least 18 years old.

Acceptable use

When using Tali, you agree not to:

  • Misrepresent your identity or business
  • Embed the widget on sites that are illegal, hateful, or fraudulent
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code beyond what's publicly served
  • Try to access other users' accounts or data
  • Send abusive traffic or attempt to overload the service
  • Resell or sublicense Tali as your own product

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Plans and billing

Tali offers a free tier and a paid Pro tier. New accounts get a 30-day Pro trial automatically; after the trial ends, accounts that haven't subscribed revert to the free tier with no charge.

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. By upgrading, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Prices are listed at tali.so/dashboard/upgrade and may change with notice.

You can cancel anytime from the customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we don't prorate refunds. If you believe you were charged in error, email us and we'll work it out.

Your content

Your pricing configuration, branding, copy, and uploaded assets are yours. By using Tali, you grant us a non-exclusive license to host, store, and serve that content as needed to operate the Service. You can export or delete your data anytime.

The widget on your site

When you embed Tali on your site, you're responsible for the accuracy of the rates and information you configure. Tali computes estimates based on your inputs; final pricing, contracts, and client agreements are between you and your clients. We are not a party to those transactions.

Service availability

We work hard to keep Tali running, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, outages of upstream providers (Supabase, Vercel, Stripe), and bugs happen. We'll communicate significant issues when we can.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or if your account is dormant for a long time. On termination, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer

Tali is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tali and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify active users by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
